For many years Infoterm had been pioneering in publishing books, journals, newsletters and all kinds of documents in the field of terminology. Today, we are most satisfied to see that this role has been taken over by a number of other institutions and organizations, some of which can be considered as off-springs of Infoterm activities.
In 1990, TermNet became the main publisher of Infoterm book publications. In 2004, TermNet concluded a cooperation agreement with the Ergon Verlag, whereby entitling Ergon to distribute these publications under its label.

In the late 1970s Infoterm started to publish the Infoterm Newsletter (INL), which was often partially or fully re-printed in other pertinent scientific journals. In 1980 Infoterm started to organize TermNet on the basis of a contract with UNESCO and to publish TermNet News. In the course of the years BiblioTerm (BIT), StandardTerm (STT) and Terminology Standardization and Harmonization (TSH) were added to this list. In the late 1990s INL, BIT, STT and TSH became gradually integrated into TNN.

Since the year of its foundation (1971) Infoterm has
- contributed to conferences and workshops
- carried out surveys and studies
- prepared reports
- published Annual Reports
Many of these contributions have been published within the framework of regular periodicals or book publications.
