The theme for the 2009 LISA Forum Asia, to be hosted in Taipei in April 2009, is Global Design & Innovation. Building on its reputation as a leading manufacturing center, Taiwan is increasingly recognized as a leader in the development and design of products sold around the world, a trend seen in mainland China and elsewhere in Asia.

The Forum will focus on

• how innovation can enable companies to leverage the current economic downturn to come out ahead, and
• how companies can be more successful in mainland China.

As always, the underlying theme is helping companies to implement globalization best practices to attract and keep their international customers.
