Cyber Network for Learning Languages to be implemented by UNESCO
Feasibility Study for a Cyber Network for Learning Languages unanimously approved by UNESCO Executive Board
At its 182nd session in September 2009, the UNESCO Executive Board unanimously approved the Feasibility Study for the Implementation of a Cyber Network for Learning Languages (CNLL), in the preparation of which Infoterm has been instrumental, as Infoterm’s Director, Christian Galinski, functioned as organizer and rapporteur of the group of experts appointed for this task.
Some countries have already declared their readiness to share the costs for the implementation of this collaborative online platform for learning languages under UNESCO’s auspices. UNESCO is going to negotiate also with other Member States to join in.
