16th AILA World Congress - Third call for papers

Every three years, AILA (Association Internationale de Linguistique Appliquée / International Association of Applied Linguistics) holds its international World Congress. This congress is the biggest event in applied linguistics, bringing together during 5 days - usually more than 2.000 - researchers and practitioners from all areas of applied linguistics. It is characterized by high level presentations and discussions on key issues of the field.
AILA 2011 invites proposals for presentations that are related to policy, research, and theory in any area of applied linguistics for the 16th AILA World Congress about Harmony in Diversity: Language, Culture, Society, which will take place at the Beijing Foreign Studies University. Proposals may be for individual papers, posters, symposia or workshops.
Deadline for submission: 15 April 2010 (Midnight Beijing time UTC + 8)
