Terminological Challenges in Europe in the 2010s. An international seminar to celebrate TNC's 70th anniversary.
Infoterm is pleased to announce, that its member, the Swedish Centre for Terminology (TNC), is celebrating its 70th anniversary by giving a seminar on Terminology Challenges in Europe in the 2010s on 25 May 2011 in Stockholm. The seminar will deal with the current and future challenges which confront terminological efforts on a regional, national and international scale. The following questions will be discussed:
- What overall terminological responsibility can the state and other actors be expected to take?
- What terminological awareness exists in society, and in various subject fields?
- Does the translation of EU documents into national languages have an impact on national terminologies?
