ESCO, the Multilingual Classification of European Skills/Competences, Qualifications and Occupations Platform to be launched in Brussels, 23-24 October 2013

The "ESCO goes live" Conference, jointly organised by DG Education and Culture and DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, will officially launch the ESCO Classification and Platform in Brussels, 23-24 October 2013.

ESCO will serve as a common language facilitating cooperation and dialogue between education/training and labour market stakeholders. ESCO has been created by European and national stakeholders and the European Commission.

The conference offers an opportunity to discuss the value of ESCO at national level, and to exchange ideas with colleagues from more than 30 European countries.

Because of a limited number of places the expression of interest form has to be sent to Karin.van-der-Sanden[at]ec.europa.eu by18th September in order to be admitted.
