TERMCAT: Illustrated Vocabulary of Music Instruments

The Vocabulari il·lustrat d’instruments musicals (‘Illustrated Vocabulary of Music Instruments’) gathers 262 terms classified into the five top areas of music instruments, according to ethnomusicology and the Hornbostel-Sachs system: idiophones, membraphones, cordophones, aerophones and electrophones.

Each entry offers the denomination and definition in Catalan, the image that identifies it and the equivalents in Spanish, English and French. Some cases also include German and Italian.
