Strategic aspects of standardisation and certification in the field of eAccessibility & eInclusion, Sheffield (UK), 12 September 2017

Deliverable D9.8 of the EU-project IN LIFE (INdependent LIving support Functions for the Elderly) prepared by Infoterm, explains in-depth the relation between standardization and legislation, as well as certification based on standards or other regulations. It also identifies gaps in standardization, as well the need for certification referring to human resources, products and services, training, healthcare operation, etc.

This satellite event to the 14th AAATE Conference 2017, focuses on the strategic aspects of the topic, answering questions from management, policy makers, decision makers in administration. It will also present new approaches to address some gaps and insufficiencies identified.
This interactive seminar highlights the strategic importance of standardization for AAATE members as well as for the eHealth community in general.
