Standards-based certification schemes for content-related methods and tools as well as for content itself
|
|
Given the enormous increase of structured content of all sorts, reliability and quality of content is becoming a major concern. Therefore, international standards dealing with certification methods and schemes are increasingly also applied to
- the methods and processes of content creation and maintenance
- the tools used for content creation and maintenance
- content interoperability for the sake of widest re-usability and re-purposability of
content
- …and ultimately also to the quality of content itself.
ISO/TC 37 is playing a crucial role in the development of generic standards fundamental for content interoperability in all eApplication fields.
