DPI-NGO: Infoterm is associated with the United Nations Department of Public Information (UN/DPI).
JIAMCATT: Is a forum for debate, exchange of expertise and cooperation in the fields of computer-assisted terminology and translation, interpretation and documentation retrieval.
ECOSOC: In 2009, Infoterm was granted consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council.
WHO: Infoterm has the status of a WHO Collaborating Centre (WHOCC) for Health & Biomedical Terminology of the World Health Organization (WHO).
UNESCO: Infoterm was founded in 1971 by contract with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Infoterm is a non-governmental organization in official relations with UNESCO.
ISO: Infoterm is Associate Member of the Information Network of the International Organization for Standardization (ISONET).
ISO/TC 37: Since 1 January 2009, Infoterm has Liaison A status with ISO and contributes effectively to the work of ISO/TC 37 and its subcommittees.
