    Infoterm is associated with the United Nations Department of Public Information.
  • International Annual Meeting on Computer-Assisted Translation and Terminology (JIAMCATT)
    Infoterm is participating organization.
• United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)
  Infoterm was founded in 1971 by contract with UNESCO and since 2010, it is a non-governmental organization in official relations with the organization.
• Austrian Commission for UNESCO (ÖUK)
• World Health Organization (WHO)
  Infoterm enjoyed the status of a WHO Collaborating Centre (WHOCC) for Health & Biomedical Terminology of the World Health Organization from the mid 1990s to 2013.
• International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
• Infoterm is an Organization in cooperation with ISO and enjoys liaison status with several technical committees in ISO.
• Information Network of the International Organization for Standardization (ISONET)
  Infoterm was Associate Member of ISONET (2006-2010).
• Secretariat of ISO/TC 37 (1971-2008)
• Twinned Secretariat of ISO/TC 37 since 1 January 2009, Infoterm in its capacity as Twinned Secretariat continues to contribute effectively to the work of ISO/TC 37 and its subcommittees.
• European Committee for Standardization (CEN)

  Infoterm functioned as a Participant Member of the Industry Specification Group on Localisation Industry Standards (ETSI ISG LIS) from 2011 to 2015.

Affiliates are those institutions, associations or enterprises which are not primarily concerned with terminology but support Infoterm’s objectives.
